Network Administrator

About the role

A Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring 24x7 availability of the company network and will assure a determining role in the management, support, maintenance, implementation, administration and lifecycle management of network environments. The administrator's expertise will be used as a level of escalation in case of incidents and for the contribution in the qualification of new solutions, assisting in the deployment. The role is to provide day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and for project-based work to the development, deployment and adoption of new network services. This person must have deep knowledge in evolving Network features, and must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments distributed across 5000+ remote locations throughout the group.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor uptime, performance, and health of network components
• Apply patches and updates to maintain security and stability
• Ensure systems comply with operational standards and SLAs
• Coordinate with support teams to align with incident and change management processes
• Design and implement WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network services like NLB (Network Load Balancing)
• Configure routing protocols, VLANs, and wireless access points
• Deploy and manage firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection systems
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for major incidents and recurring problems
• Generate regular reports on network performance, uptime, and incident trends
• Maintain configuration records, network diagrams, and change logs

About you

• 3-7 years' experience in infrastructure, with 3-5 years as Network Administrator
• CCNA is a must; preferably CCNP Level
• Strong knowledge of Cisco network products, Palo Alto, Infoblox, Azure Firewall
• Administration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN/WLAN networks
• Routing protocols configuration and troubleshooting (BGP, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Self-motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession
• Team player able to work with people within and outside of the IT department
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• English speaking mandatory
• Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand business constraints
