Network Administrator

Job Summary

The Network Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and securing an organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of LAN, WAN, wireless, cloud, and network security systems while providing technical support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Flexible schedule to work Night, Evenings shifts and weekend as needed
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and maintain routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, LACP, and VLANs.
• Administer LAN, WAN, Internet connectivity, and VPN services.
• Configure and manage firewalls, content filtering, and network security solutions.
• Analyze network capacity and performance and recommend improvements.
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and change implementation activities.
• Maintain network monitoring and alerting systems.
• Document network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and asset inventory.
• Support disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Provide technical support and assist helpdesk teams with network-related incidents.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices.
