Network Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot an organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of network configuration, security, monitoring, and performance optimization to ensure reliable and secure network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless network environments.
• Configure and maintain network security policies and access controls.
• Perform network upgrades, maintenance, and routine system checks.
• Identify and resolve network outages and performance issues.
• Monitor network traffic, bandwidth utilization, and network availability.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and support business operations.
• Implement network backup, disaster recovery, and security procedures.
• Support users with network connectivity and access-related problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise networking equipment.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux networking fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or other relevant networking certifications.
• Experience with cloud networking platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with network automation and scripting using Python or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of network security monitoring and incident response.
