Network Administrator (Government Sector, Networking)

A HKSAR Government DepartmentSelected candidates will be assigned to work in the government department to provide implementation and system support, follow up with fault reporting issues for performing network equipment, video and related telecommunications projects.

Responsibilities:

·       To monitor the network management and other supporting systems and communicate with users, project team and contractors on the issues found

·       To perform the daily reports on the system faults, performance and other related jobs conducted during the duty period

·       To provide logistic arrangements for the contractor for site access to rectify the faults or perform routine jobs and necessary support for solving the issues between the contractors and site owners

Requirements:

·       DSE or HKCEE’s certificate holder with 5 subjects in level 2 including Chinese and English

·       At least 2 years working experience in similar capacity

·       Solid experience in Project Management and Issue Tracking System and Vendor Management

·       Solid knowledge or experience with the corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and system support on real time operation systems

·       Solid experience in either network, server, video system, or fibre/mobile communications system

·       Solid knowledge or experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) and IT service ticketing workflow
