Network & Power domain HW architect

Drive hardware architecture definition, technology roadmap planning, component ecosystem development, and supplier technical evaluations for future cockpit, ADAS, and centralized computing platforms. Act as a key technical representative of the hardware organization in platform-level discussions with system architects, software architects, suppliers, and global development teams, while actively participating in hardware solution definition and critical technology decisions.

Qualification Education

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines
• Fluent Chinese and good English communication skills required Experience
• Minimum 12 years of experience in hardware development, hardware architecture, system design, or related technical leadership roles.
• Extensive experience in automotive networking, high-speed connectivity, power architecture, domain controllers, cockpit, ADAS, centralized compute, or related platforms.
• Proven track record of leading architecture discussions, technical reviews, and platform-level solution evaluations.
• Experience translating product and system requirements into scalable hardware platform architectures.
• Strong experience driving technical trade-offs involving compute, networking, power, thermal, reliability, cost, scalability, and vehicle integration constraints.
• Experience working directly with OEMs, Tier1 suppliers, semiconductor vendors, and global engineering organizations.
• Experience defining technology roadmaps, preferred component ecosystems, and reusable platform architectures.
• Experience participating in executive-level technical discussions and influencing key architecture decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical capability development across organizations.
• Hands-on experience throughout the full product lifecycle from concept development to mass production. Specific Knowledge Network & Connectivity Architecture
• Deep understanding of in-vehicle networking architectures and data communication frameworks, with the ability to define scalable connectivity solutions for current and future vehicle platforms.
• Ability to evaluate and define networking architectures covering Automotive Ethernet, network switches, gateways, PCIe, USB, SerDes, camera links, and vehicle communication infrastructures.
• Ability to perform architectural trade-offs involving bandwidth, latency, determinism, scalability, diagnostics, cost, reliability, and future upgradeability.
• Ability to challenge and evaluate supplier network architectures and connectivity strategies. Power Platform Architecture
• Strong understanding of automotive power architectures and power distribution strategies for cockpit, ADAS, and centralized compute platforms.
• Ability to define power concepts covering power trees, PMIC strategies, power sequencing, monitoring, protection mechanisms, and platform power budgeting.
• Ability to evaluate the impact of power architecture decisions on performance, reliability, thermal behavior, EMC robustness, cost, and future scalability.
• Experience supporting platform-level power decisions and supplier technical evaluations. Hardware Platform Understanding
• Strong understanding of modern compute platforms and their interactions with networking, power, storage, thermal, software, and vehicle architectures.
• Ability to assess how platform-level hardware decisions influence performance, system behavior, lifecycle management, integration complexity, and product evolution.
• Ability to represent hardware perspectives in cross-functional architecture discussions. Hardware Development & Technical Authority
• Strong hands-on experience in hardware design, component selection, debugging, validation, and technical issue resolution.
• Ability to guide development teams through complex networking and power related technical challenges.
• Deep understanding of the system-level consequences of implementation decisions and hardware trade-offs.
• Ability to establish technical guidelines, review methodologies, and engineering best practices.

• Ability to translate business needs, product requirements, and system constraints into long-term networking and power technology strategies.
• Ability to identify industry trends and define future platform directions.
• Experience building preferred component ecosystems and supplier technology strategies.
• Ability to drive technical alignment across hardware, software, system, supplier, and global engineering organizations.
• Strong influencing skills with the ability to align stakeholders without direct authority.
