Network and Security Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network security solutions using FortiGate, Checkpoint, Sophos, and other relevant technologies.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies for remediation.
• Implement data loss prevention measures to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure security into overall IT operations.
• Provide expert guidance on network management best practices to ensure optimal performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-7 years of experience in networking or related field with a focus on network security implementation.
• Strong understanding of firewall configuration (e.g., Fortinet, Sophos etc.) and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF).
• Experience with data loss prevention tools such as DLP systems.
• Proficiency in implementing various types of security solutions including antivirus software (Sophos), IDS/IPS systems.
