Network and System Support Executive

We are looking for competent and motivated individual to join our team in Karachi for the following position:

• Network and System Support Executive

Gender: Male

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot the company’s LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and other network devices.
• Monitor network availability, system performance, and connectivity to ensure uninterrupted IT operations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and update Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
• Monitor servers, antivirus solutions, system updates, and endpoint security to ensure a secure IT environment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware failures, software issues, and other IT-related problems.
• Configure and maintain network devices, firewalls, and security policies in accordance with company requirements.
• Perform data backups, monitor backup systems, and support disaster recovery and restoration activities.
• Maintain IT asset records, system configurations, technical documentation, and service reports.
• Provide technical support to end users, manage IT support tickets, and ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and external vendors to resolve network and infrastructure-related issues.
• Follow IT policies, security procedures, and change management protocols.
• Provide support outside normal working hours when required to ensure business continuity.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant IT certifications will be considered an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, and system support.
• Experience working in a corporate or manufacturing environment will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and IP addressing.
• Hands-on experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and network access points.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and user access management.
• Practical experience in desktop and laptop troubleshooting, hardware installation, and software configuration.
• Knowledge of server monitoring, data backup, antivirus solutions, endpoint security, and patch management.
• Familiarity with IT documentation, asset management, ticketing systems, and IT service management procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide effective end-user support.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple IT support requests, and prioritize tasks effectively.
