Network and System Support Specialist

Position Description:

Primarily responsible for maintaining the computers, network devices, cloud applications (SaaS), and systems of the company including installation, maintenance, and upgrading of machines.

Key Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Preferably Mid-level/2 to 3 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Technical & Helpdesk Support or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace (Email System/Apps), Microsoft 365, Windows (10/11) and Linux environment, Remote Tool, VPN, Networking Protocols, Firewall Appliance (Fortigate), Cloud-based VoIP, Asset Management System, Ticketing System, Network Monitoring Tool, File Transfer Apps
• Basic knowledge in Networking (LAN/WAN), Servers (Windows/Linux), CCTV Maintenance
• Printer and PC/Laptop, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Experience with coordinating with third-party equipment vendors
• Capacity to attend to and make decisions (Approved by supervisor) when needed and demanded by the situation
• Able to meet daily reporting metrics
• Excellent in written and verbal Communication skills in English language
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle both technical and non-technical staff
• Flexibility to work on shifting schedule, holidays, weekends and beyond working hours if needed

Duties and Responsibilities:  

• User Support: Provide L1 to L2 technical support to on-site and remote employees (troubleshooting OS, email, VPN, software, network access and peripheral issues).
• Hardware & Software Management: Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, and software.
• Asset & Vendor Management: Monitor and maintain IT hardware/software inventory, and coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs or replacements.
• Device Check: Perform device checking on current employees and the new applicant’s personal computer
• Security: Configure and maintain security baseline on hardware and system
• Onboarding and Offboarding: Perform IT Onboarding and offboarding procedure tasks
• Backup: Perform weekly configuration backups and maintaining its readiness for restoration
• Reminders: Send out IT reminders and notifications through email
• Policy and SOP: Assist immediate supervisor and management in drafting, maintaining IT policies and standard operating procedure documents
• System and Network Infrastructure: Assist the Network and System Administrator in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting company’s system and network infrastructure

Shifting Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM & 3:00 PM-12:00 AM
