Network & Systems Engineer

We are looking for a Network & Systems Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and contribute to the design, deployment, security, and maintenance of our network infrastructure.

Mission

-Design & Architecture

• Participate in the design and architecture of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructures.
• Contribute to scalable, secure, and redundant network topologies.

-Deployment & Configuration

• Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Configure Layer 2 technologies including VLAN, STP, VTP, and EtherChannel.

-Network Security

• Configure and manage firewalls such as Cisco ASA, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
• Implement ACLs, VPNs, network segmentation, and security best practices.
• Contribute to improving network security and infrastructure protection.

-Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor network performance, availability, and traffic.
• Use monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
• Identify and resolve latency, packet loss, bottlenecks, and performance issues.

-Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose and resolve network incidents and connectivity issues.
• Provide L2/L3 support to users and IT teams.
• Handle escalated incidents and technical support requests.

-Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and change logs.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure proper documentation of network changes.

-Business Continuity

• Participate in disaster recovery planning and network failover testing.
• Support high-availability and network redundancy solutions.

-Collaboration

• Work closely with System Administrators, Cloud Engineers, Cybersecurity teams, and other IT teams.
• Participate in cross-functional infrastructure projects such as Data Center migrations and network upgrades.

-Audit & Compliance

• Participate in network audits and implement recommended improvements.
• Contribute to compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS.

Profile

• Engineering or Master's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Cyber Security, IT, or a related field.
• Minimun of 2 yeras of experience in network administration and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN environments.
• Good understanding of OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Knowledge of VLAN, STP, VTP, and EtherChannel.
• Good knowledge of network security technologies, including ACLs, IDS/IPS, and Firewalls.
• Knowledge of IPSec, SSL VPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and Remote Access VPN.
• Good knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting.
• Strong network monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies such as Cisco WLC, Aruba, or Ubiquiti.
• Good technical documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good English and French communication skills.

Recommended Certifications

• Cisco CCNA / CCNP
• CompTIA Network+
• Fortinet NSE 4 or above
• ITIL Foundation is a plus.
