Network & Telecommunications Engineer

We're looking for a Network & Telecommunications Engineer to join our team. If you're passionate about network architecture, connectivity, security, and infrastructure operations, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex enterprise environments and modern networking solutions.

You'll collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to design, implement, and support robust networking and telecommunications platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructures
• Manage and optimize routing, switching, and network segmentation solutions
• Configure and maintain network security, firewalls, VPNs, and access control systems
• Support network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities
• Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions
• Design and maintain load balancing and application delivery services
• Support Wi-Fi infrastructures and connectivity services
• Manage Voice over IP (VoIP) platforms and telecommunications services
• Participate in network architecture, zoning, segmentation, and DMZ design initiatives
• Ensure network security, availability, and operational excellence
• Contribute to infrastructure projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Relevant academic background in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in network design, administration, and support
• Strong experience with Cisco (Catalyst and Nexus) and Fortinet networking technologies
• Experience with routing, switching, and enterprise LAN/WAN environments
• Knowledge of SD-WAN , MPLS, and modern network architectures
• Experience with NAC solutions (802.1X) and network access management
• Experience with Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls, VPNs, and security solutions
• Knowledge of load balancers such as NGINX and FortiWeb
• Experience with Cisco and Fortinet wireless infrastructures
• Familiarity with VoIP technologies, including Cisco, Asterisk, and FreePBX
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, ADFS, Digital Certificates, SIP/SIP Trunks, and Call Managers
• Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, Radius, TACACS+, and Lansweeper
• Understanding of network security, segmentation, zoning strategies, and DMZ design
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is a plus
