Network Architect

Role Description This part-time remote Network Architect role at مختبر قطرة الحياة للخدمات البيئية – qatratalhayah focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing secure network infrastructures that support the organization’s environmental services operations. The Network Architect will develop scalable network architectures, create detailed network diagrams and documentation, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align network solutions with business needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and maintaining network devices, monitoring performance, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, and implementing security best practices and policies. The role also involves evaluating new networking technologies, recommending improvements, and ensuring high availability, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Architecture and Network Design to create scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Network Engineering and Network Administration skills to implement, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and services.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Network Security to design and enforce security controls, policies, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Candidates should have proficiency with routing and switching technologies, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking.
• Candidates should demonstrate experience with network monitoring and management tools, and basic knowledge of cloud or hybrid network environments.
• Candidates should have strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
• Candidates should ideally hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
