Network Automation Engineer

Network Automation Engineer | 12-Month Contract

We're seeking a Network Automation Engineer to play a key role in building and enhancing network automation capabilities within a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on opportunity to establish standards, automate manual processes, and drive Infrastructure as Code practices across the network function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance network automation solutions and tooling.
• Establish and maintain a reliable source of truth for network infrastructure data.
• Identify and automate manual network operational processes.
• Build integrations between network and security platforms using APIs.
• Support network discovery, analysis, and standardisation initiatives.
• Work closely with Network Engineers to translate manual processes into automated solutions.
• Promote DevOps and Infrastructure as Code best practices.

About You

• Strong experience with Python, APIs, and automation development.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Solid enterprise networking background.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating network and security platforms.
• Exposure to Palo Alto technologies is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
