Network Automation Engineer (DevOps, DNS/DHCP/IPAM)

Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite)

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer with strong DevOps and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) expertise to support and automate enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network automation, DNS/DHCP services, REST APIs, Cisco networking, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) platforms.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IP conflicts, and network performance issues.
• Automate network operations using REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform, and scripting .
• Support infrastructure deployments, migrations, and production environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD processes for network and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with cloud, network, and DevOps teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for critical network services.
• Drive automation and AI-based improvements for network operations.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of networking experience with strong DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) expertise.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, and Cisco Networks .
• Experience with REST APIs and network automation.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise-scale network infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Ansible, Terraform, Python, JavaScript
• Infoblox or BlueCat DDI platforms
• AWS Route 53 or Azure DNS
• ServiceNow integrations
• Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
• Java development experience
• CCNA, CCNP, Security+, or ITIL certifications
