What they need
Looking for a Software Engineer with experience in platform development, embedded systems, device drivers, Linux kernel networking with a focus on platform and L2/L3 protocols
Min 3-5 years of experience in the networking domain and platform/systems development
Preferred Skills
- 3+ year’s embedded software development experience using C, C++ and/or Python.
- Experience developing Linux internals including BSP (Board Support Package)
- Experience designing, coding, and troubleshooting low-level device drivers such as Ethernet
- Expertise in the Linux TCP stack
- Linux kernel experience
- Virtualization support (NICs), hardware offloads such as Crypto, Checksum, TSO, GRO
- Systems-level programming experience
- Understanding of L2, L3, L4 networking and routing protocols
- Strong ability to debug issues in complex systems
- Excited by quickly delivering results that make a meaningful difference to customers
- Own solutions end-to-end and driving the design, development, and deployment process
- Creative, open-minded, collaborative problem solver
- Focus on clarity in written and verbal communications
