Network engineer ACI L2

Network ACI L2 for Chennai.

We are looking for a Network L2 Engineer with 4+ years hands-on experience in Cisco ACI environments, Routing & Switching, Nexus switches, and vPC technologies. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabric components.
• Configure and support Routing & Switching environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches and vPC configurations.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
• Investigate and resolve network incidents, service requests, and escalations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and change implementation.
• Maintain network documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).
• Experience in Cisco Nexus switches.
• Knowledge of vPC (Virtual Port Channel) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience in network monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of network protocols and concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to enterprise data center networking environments.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA/CCNP will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Qualification

Degree BE/B.Tech/MCA in IT/Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics or higher in Computer Science/others.

• L2 role requires 24/7 support.
