Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability network architectures.
• Manage and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Implement and manage network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, and VPNs.
• Support cloud and hybrid network integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP connectivity).
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support business requirements.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Work with vendors and ISPs for network provisioning and issue resolution.

Required Skills &

Qualifications Technical Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering and operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent networking devices.
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point).
• Strong troubleshooting skills using packet capture and monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).
• Experience with network monitoring and performance tools.
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute).
