In this role, you will leverage your expertise in computer networking, network security, and system administration to ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and high availability across diverse IT environments. Your proactive approach will support our mission to deliver reliable and scalable network solutions that enable business success and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting.

Duties

  • Design, deploy, and optimize complex network architectures including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), and data center networks to support organizational needs.
  • Configure and manage network hardware such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, Juniper equipment, and other networking equipment to ensure secure and efficient operations.
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols including VPN (Virtual Private Network) configurations, IPsec tunnels, firewall rules, Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), and vulnerability assessments.
  • Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, and SolarWinds to identify issues proactively; troubleshoot equipment failures or connectivity problems swiftly to minimize downtime.
  • Manage system administration tasks across operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), BSD variants, Solaris, and macOS for seamless integration with network services.
  • Support cloud security initiatives by working with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure platforms, virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere or Citrix, and automation tools such as Ansible or PowerShell scripts.
  • Conduct regular network documentation updates including GPO (Group Policy Objects), DHCP configurations, DNS records, load balancing setups, high availability clusters, and network architecture diagrams to ensure clarity and compliance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol), BGP (Border Gateway Protocol), and MPLS.
  • Hands-on knowledge of network security practices including IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), encryption standards like SSL/TLS, SSO (Single Sign-On), SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), SSH (Secure Shell), and VPN management.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues involving TCP/IP protocols, TCP load balancing solutions, NAT configurations, VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks), and network switching techniques.
  • Experience supporting data center environments with SAN storage systems and managing network hardware support for enterprise-level infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation of routine tasks; experience with DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks for service management combined with agile methodologies to deliver continuous improvements in network operations.
  • Strong background in system design for high availability architectures ensuring minimal downtime through load balancing strategies and redundant configurations across diverse platforms.

Join us to be at the forefront of innovative networking solutions! Your expertise will help shape the future of our IT infrastructure while advancing your career in a vibrant environment dedicated to technological excellence.
