Network Engineer

• Configure, implement and support LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN infrastructures for enterprise clients.
• Install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers and access points — IP addressing, VLANs, trunking, STP and QoS.
• Provide L2/L3 support for network incidents and escalations within SLA; troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless and performance issues.
• Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools; flag capacity and performance risks.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on major or recurring incidents and implement permanent fixes.
• Support firewall policies and site-to-site / remote-access VPN configuration in line with network security best practices.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations and site rollouts with minimal disruption to client operations.
• Manage incidents and changes through the ticketing system; coordinate with vendors and ISPs.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation — configurations, topology diagrams, IP schemas, SOPs and service reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Multi-vendor exposure: Cisco, Aruba/HPE, Fortinet, Juniper, Sophos
• Experience with BGP, HSRP/VRRP, 802.1X/RADIUS, IDS/IPS
• Knowledge of cloud or hybrid networking (Azure, AWS)
• Basic scripting or network automation (Python, Ansible)
• Strong written and verbal English
• Professional customer handling at client sites
• Analytical, structured problem-solving skills
• Teamwork across engineering and project teams
• Disciplined documentation practice
• Good time management
• Willingness to work at client locations and support after-hours maintenance windows
