Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should have strong knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
• Manage LAN, WAN, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP environments.
• Configure and maintain Cisco or similar networking equipment.
• Implement network security policies and access controls.
• Support VPN and remote-access solutions.
• Work with cloud networking environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Perform network upgrades, maintenance, and configuration changes.
• Maintain network documentation and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with system administrators, security teams, and other IT teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, LAN/WAN, and routing/switching.
• Experience with Cisco routers and switches.
• Experience with network firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco.
• Knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security concepts.
• Experience with AWS or Azure networking is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Python or Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
