We are looking for a dynamic Network Engineer who shares our commitment and believes in the value of communication and client interaction. As a Network Engineer, you will:

• Maintain, Configure and Secure our client's network infrastructure;
• Work cross-functionally across our client's enterprises between technology and the rest of their business to design and implement large scale solutions; and
• Implement Prescient Solutions' best practices.

*** The position is mostly remote, with project-based on-site requirements.***

Network Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports both operational and engineering functions at our client sites;

• Troubleshoots and maintains client's IT network 24/7;

• Evaluates customer generated requirements and works with the clients to ensure the implementation meets the clients' needs;

• Works with technicians and engineering groups at both Prescient Solutions and at the client locations to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required;

• Prepares operational and technical documentation;

• Mentors junior team members; and

• Performs other duties and assists with special projects as needed.

• 5 - 8 years of experience configuring, installing, supporting, and maintaining network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers and firewalls;

• Proficient with Cisco Meraki-based networking;

• Able to work on-site in Pingree Grove, IL for projects;

• Able to balance multiple priorities concurrently; and

• Authorized to work for any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
