What they need
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain large-scale network infrastructure using Juniper routers (MX) and switches (QFX).
- Configure and troubleshoot complex network topologies involving IP transit, peering, IXP, LAGs, port channels, BGP routing protocols.
- Implement PNI (Provider Network Interface), CROSS-CONNECT features for secure interconnectivity between networks.
- Manage network automation tools such as LOA/CFA (Line Optimization & Capacity Forecasting Analytics) for efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues related to network provisioning, turn-ups, optics installation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6-11 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale networks with expertise in BGP troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP; switching protocols like VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol.
- Proficiency in configuring Juniper devices (MX/QFX) for IP transit services; knowledge of PeeringDB database management system.
