Network Engineer – Operations Support

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Engineer – Operations Support with 3–5 years of experience to maintain, monitor, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring network availability, performance, security, and reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and connectivity problems.
• Configure, maintain, and upgrade routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Support network incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and network security compliance.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management when required.

Job Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or enterprise network operations/support.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP, WLAN, and firewall technologies.
• Experience or familiarity with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar networking platforms.
• Understanding of ITIL service management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
