Role Description The Network Engineer role at Techdravin is a full-time, on-site position based in Hoofddorp. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructure to support internal operations and client environments. Daily activities include configuring and administering network devices, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving network issues, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services. The Network Engineer collaborates with IT consultants, field service teams, and other technical staff to support project delivery, optimize network architectures, and implement best practices for network security and compliance. The role also involves documenting configurations, participating in network upgrades and migrations, and providing technical support and guidance to stakeholders.

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies to join our team in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Cisco Routing & Switching

• Cisco ASA Firewall & VPN

• Cisco Meraki

• Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela)

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong experience in network infrastructure and troubleshooting

• Hands-on expertise in Cisco networking and security technologies

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Willingness to work from the office at least 3 days per week

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design, with experience planning and implementing LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-connected networks.
• Proficiency in Network Administration, including configuration and management of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability in Troubleshooting network issues, performance optimization, and root cause analysis using industry-standard tools.
• Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices, such as access control, encryption, segmentation, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+) are highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with routing protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and monitoring platforms (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, or similar solutions).
• Ability to work on-site in Hoofddorp, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
