Role : Senior Network Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Fully Onsite)-need local only

Duration: Long Term Contract

Required exp: 10+ Years

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Escalation & Incident Support
• Provide Tier-3 technical leadership and escalation support to L1/L2 teams during day-to-day operational issues and major network incidents, including weekend break-fix and planned maintenance coverage.
• Infrastructure Implementation
• Implement and support enterprise-scale network infrastructure spanning data centers, cloud environments, campus, and branch locations using Cisco and Arista platforms with Leaf-Spine architectures.
• Network Automation
• Develop and deploy automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and improve overall network efficiency.
• Standards & Documentation
• Develop and maintain network standards, engineering procedures, and operational documentation to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer across the team.
• Maintenance & Change Management
• Coordinate and execute maintenance windows, including rollback plans, validation testing, and post-implementation reviews to minimize production risk.
• Performance Monitoring & Observability
• Monitor network performance using cloud-native tools (CloudWatch, AWS VPC Reachability Analyzer, Azure Network Watcher) and proactively identify risks before they impact production environments.
• Security & Compliance
• Ensure timely vulnerability remediation and critical security patching across production networks in compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 8+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience
• CCNP or CCIE certification strongly preferred; equivalent advanced certifications considered
• Experience with large-scale global data center environments and agile/DevOps methodologies is a plus
