Role: Network Engineer – DC Transformation

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise Data Centre network infrastructure.
• Participate in Data Centre transformation, migration, modernization, and network refresh initiatives.
• Configure and manage enterprise network devices including Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Work on LAN, WAN, Data Centre networking, routing, and switching environments.
• Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Manage and support VLANs, VXLAN, VRF, STP, HSRP/VRRP, and IP addressing.
• Support Data Centre technologies including Cisco Nexus, ACI, and spine-leaf architecture.
• Perform network migrations, upgrades, configuration changes, and technology refresh activities with minimal service disruption.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents, performance issues, connectivity problems, and network outages.
• Work with security, infrastructure, cloud, application, and operations teams to deliver transformation projects.
• Develop and maintain network diagrams, HLD/LLD documents, configuration standards, implementation plans, and operational documentation.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Data Centre Networking and Network Transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus / Cisco Data Centre technologies.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, STP, HSRP/VRRP.
• Experience with VXLAN / EVPN and spine-leaf architecture.
• Experience with Cisco ACI is highly desirable.
• Experience performing network migration, upgrade, refresh, and transformation projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Data Center / CCNP Enterprise.
• Cisco ACI.
• VXLAN/EVPN.
• F5 / load-balancing technologies.
• Palo Alto / Fortinet firewalls.
• SDN / SD-WAN.
