Job Details What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support our DoD and government clients by designing, implementing, securely configuring, and maintaining their network infrastructure. This role focuses on Cisco switches and routers, Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE, ForeScout, and Palo Alto firewalls, all configured to DoD compliance frameworks. You will often be the only member of our team on site, so we need someone who can work independently, communicate confidently with clients, and contribute from day one. This is a full-time, salaried, remote role with approximately 60% overnight travel to client sites across the US, typically flying out Sunday and returning Friday, often for consecutive weeks followed by remote weeks. Candidates on the East Coast (DC/VA/MD) are preferred.

What You Will Do:

Design and implement network architecture according to required compliance frameworks and IT security requirements.

Configure and deploy Cisco switches, routers, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto firewalls to build robust, reliable network infrastructure.

Implement and maintain network security measures, including ACLs, Comply-to-Connect (C2C), VLANs, 802.1x, TACACS, and firewall policies, to meet DoD security requirements.

Ensure network architecture and supporting equipment comply with DISA STIGs/SRGs.

Perform network checks in support of CORA readiness assessments.

Deliver on project scope and schedule as defined in the contract statement of work.

Conduct customer training and respond to customer questions within 8 business hours.

Monitor client satisfaction and escalate issues to the Project Manager or Lead Engineer.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements and propose solutions aligned with client business and security needs.

Create and maintain network documentation, including Visio diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.

What We Provide:

Salaried, $100K - $150K DOE

Full-Time

Profit Sharing and Spot Bonuses

Full Benefits Package Available
