Network Engineer (English speaking required)

About the role

This role involves deploying and configuring IP network equipment in Points of Presence (PoPs), performing service activation and termination for customer connections, and providing technical support for customers and internal teams. You will conduct routine network operations, monitoring, and maintenance while participating in on-call rotation for network incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure IP network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc) in PoPs
• Perform service activation and termination for customer connections
• Provide technical support and incident resolution for customers and internal teams
• Conduct routine network operations, monitoring, and maintenance
• Participate in on-call rotation for network incident response and escalation
• Coordinate with telecom carriers for circuit provisioning, testing, and fault resolution
• Manage PoP infrastructure including racking, stacking, cabling, and hardware lifecycle
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, inventory, and operational procedures
• Communicate effectively with regional and global teams to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in IP network operations or field engineering
• Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals (IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching)
• Experience with network hardware from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and network monitoring tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple sites
• Experience working with telecom carriers and service providers
• Knowledge of BGP, ISIS, and MPLS
• Hands-on experience with fiber and copper cabling standards
