Network Engineer - Enterprise Network Testing

Context

Join a dynamic team focused on migrating and validating network infrastructures for customer solutions. The role is based in Labège, Toulouse (France) with a hybrid work model allowing 2 days per week remote.

Missions

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the migration of network infrastructure to the customer solution
• Perform connectivity, latency, bandwidth, and security tests between customer environments
• Validate access to customer tools such as Git repositories, CI/CD platforms, and development environments from new customer network environments
• Identify and resolve routing, firewall, VPN, and DNS issues related to the migration
• Conduct load and performance tests to ensure critical services maintain their SLAs
• Document network configurations, data flows, and connectivity matrices
• Collaborate with customer network teams to align architectures and resolve incompatibilities
• Create troubleshooting runbooks

• Network diagnostic tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, nmap
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus
• Cloud network architectures: AWS VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway
• Network protocols and VPN technologies
• Network security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise network architecture and administration
3. Knowledge in network protocols and VPN technologies
4. Knowledge in network security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation)
5. Experience with cloud network architectures (AWS VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
6. Proven skills in testing and validating network infrastructures
7. Proficiency with network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, nmap)
8. Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus)
9. Ability to work in multi-cloud and hybrid environments
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Excellent technical documentation skills
12. Proficiency in English (oral and written)
