Network Engineer / IT Specialist

The Network Engineer / IT Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the company’s corporate IT infrastructure and network connectivity. The role involves ensuring reliable office internet, LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, switches, routers, firewalls, and other network systems. The role also provides technical support to employees, manages company devices and user access, troubleshoots IT and connectivity issues, and maintains accurate network documentation. The position works closely with the Security and SRE teams to support secure network operations, incident response, system recovery, and infrastructure improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Maintain network connectivity, DNS, routing and VLANs.
• Manage company computers, devices, software and user support.
• Handle user onboarding, offboarding and access permissions.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Coordinate internet providers, vendors and office IT equipment.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations and IT documentation.
• Work with Security and SRE teams on security incidents and network recovery.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on network administration and IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
• Experience with VLANs, firewalls, Wi-Fi and VPNs.
• Experience with endpoint and identity management.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• CCNA, Network+ or equivalent experience is an advantage.
• Cloud networking or hybrid/colocation network experience is beneficial.
