Senior Network Engineer (Juniper) | MX204, QFX, BGP, OSPF | Three-Site Network Audit for a UK Fintech

• Day rate: £500-600 per day depending on experience
• Location: Remote with a potential visit to central London office

I'm working with a 20-person Fintech who are looking for a senior Juniper network engineer to audit their network end to end. After an outage traced back to configuration that wasn't up to standard, they want an expert pair of eyes across the whole estate.

You'll spend 2-3 days on the initial audit, working across a three-site Juniper network running MX204 routers, QFX switches, BGP and OSPF. After that they'll bring you back for ad-hoc days as they work through the fixes.

Juniper experience is non-negotiable. If you know Junos inside out and can turn an audit into a clear, prioritised report, this one's for you.

What They're Looking For (Non-Negotiables)

• Juniper (Junos): MX and QFX, hands-on in production
• BGP: design, routing policy and troubleshooting
• OSPF in multi-site environments
• Network audits or health checks, with a written report at the end
• Availability to start straight away

What You'll Work With

• Juniper MX204 routers
• Juniper QFX switches
• Layer 3 routing across a three-site topology
• WAN links between sites
• A couple of Cisco switches

Nice to Haves

• Cisco IOS or NX-OS
• JNCIP or JNCIE certification
• Root cause analysis after a major incident
