Job Title: Load Balancer Engineer L1.5

Shift: Rotational Shifts

Job Description: We are looking for an L1.5 Load Balancer Engineer with hands-on experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and basic administration of load-balancing environments.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Monitor and troubleshoot Load Balancers – F5 / Citrix ADC / A10.
• Good understanding of VIPs, Pools, Pool Members, Virtual Servers and Health Monitors.
• Basic knowledge of F5 LTM and traffic management concepts.
• Troubleshoot HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP and DNS connectivity issues.
• Knowledge of SNAT, NAT and SSL Offloading.
• Perform basic configuration changes as per approved change requests.
• Troubleshoot server pool/member issues and perform enable/disable operations.
• Analyze alerts, logs and monitoring events and take appropriate action.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of VIP availability and application connectivity.
• Good understanding of Networking – Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, DNS and VLANs.
• Knowledge of HA / Active-Standby concepts in load balancers.
• Handle incidents, service requests and change tickets within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with L2/L3, Network, Server and Application teams for issue resolution.
• Prepare incident updates and maintain proper ticket documentation.
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalation processes.

Preferred Certifications:
F5 / Citrix ADC / Networking certifications will be an added advantage.
Education:
B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./BCA/MCA in a relevant technical discipline preferred.
