Network Engineer – Operations Support

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer – Operations Support to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across LAN, WAN, WLAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and related network services.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve network issues.
• Troubleshoot network incidents, outages, and connectivity problems.
• Configure, maintain, and upgrade routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Support incident, problem, change, and capacity management processes.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation, patch management, and network security compliance.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident management as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, or Palo Alto.
• Understanding of ITIL-based service management processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA or CCNP
• Fortinet NSE / FCP
• ITIL Foundation
