NETWORK ENGINEER | NETWORK ARCHITECTURE | GLOBAL CONSUMER TECH GROUP

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment and optimization of large-scale network infrastructure supporting GPU clusters, High-Performance Computing (HPC) and storage systems. The role involves developing scalable, resilient and high-performance network architectures, preparing High-Level Design (HLD) documentation, network architecture diagrams, design specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM), as well as deploying, configuring and supporting production network environments. You will work closely with technical program management and cloud platform engineering teams to facilitate GPU cluster deployment and ensure infrastructure readiness.

Key responsibilities include analysing network traffic and capacity requirements, optimizing routing performance for low-latency connectivity, planning future network expansion and ensuring infrastructure resilience and compliance with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements. You will also provide technical expertise throughout network implementation and deployment projects, conduct performance validation and interoperability testing, troubleshoot network issues, support acceptance testing, and maintain network documentation, policies, procedures and service records. Occasional on-call support is required.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Networking, Telecommunications or a related discipline, with at least five years of hands-on experience with Arista, Cisco or NVIDIA products. Strong expertise in InfiniBand (IB), RoCE network architecture and protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, Segment Routing, VXLAN, ECMP, ECN, PFC, QoS, IPSec, NAT and IPv6 is required. Experience in scripting or automation for data centre network deployment and network performance validation is essential, while familiarity with compute and storage networking and certifications such as CCNP, NCP-IB or equivalent are advantageous. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple projects independently, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
