🏠 Hybrid - max. 2 days onsite per week

💶 Rate: €80-€100 per hour freelance OR up to €110,000 on payroll

🇳🇱 Dutch nationality required

🗣 Dutch language required

I’m recruiting for an experienced Network Engineer to work across complex, business-critical enterprise environments.

The role will combine hands-on engineering, network design and customer-facing consultancy across large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement and optimise enterprise LAN environments
• Produce high-level and detailed technical network designs
• Work across routing, switching, firewalling and shared network services
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Support continuity, performance and availability of critical network environments
• Advise on architecture improvements, innovation and new functionality
• Develop technical standards and blueprints for network services

What they’re looking for:

• Strong knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, LAN and Software-Defined Networking
• Experience with OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and MPLS VPN
• Strong Cisco and/or Extreme Networks experience
• Good understanding of network architecture and enterprise environments
• Experience with Python, Ansible and Git for network automation
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Cisco and/or Extreme Networks certifications are advantageous
