What they need
About the Role
We're hiring a Network Engineer to own the design, implementation, security, and day-to-day operations of our enterprise network. You'll work across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments — with a strong emphasis on reliability, uptime, and security.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can move between architecture decisions and live troubleshooting, and who communicates clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Design and build the network — architect and implement complex LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions using both traditional and cloud-based technologies.
- Own network security — implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and related controls, grounded in security best practices.
- Keep the network healthy — use tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Cisco Prime to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain availability across sites.
- Integrate cloud networking — connect cloud services (Azure or Google Cloud) into existing network architectures.
- Resolve complex issues — diagnose and fix network problems quickly, with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate across teams — explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, and work effectively within cross-functional teams.
What We're Looking For
Must-have:
- Proven experience designing and implementing complex LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN architectures.
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, VXLAN, MPLS , and related protocols.
- Proficiency with equipment from leading vendors:
- Cisco — Catalyst and Nexus switches; ASR and ISR routers
- Juniper — EX and QFX switches; MX routers
- Fortinet — FortiGate firewalls
- Solid understanding of network security principles, with hands-on experience in firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Cisco Prime.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and platforms (Azure or Google Cloud), including integration with existing network architectures.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving complex network issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Good to have:
- AI for network operations — familiarity with AI tools for troubleshooting, log analysis, documentation, and operational efficiency, with the ability to validate AI-generated output.
- Python scripting — experience writing and maintaining scripts for network automation, API integration, configuration checks, log processing, or reporting.
Why This Role
- Exposure to a mix of on-premise, cloud, and multi-site environments.
- Clear ownership of both architecture and operations.
