LCAT: Technical/Functional Expert Network

Description: The Technical/Functional Expert Network must provide Network Communication services, which the Government will use to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities at two sites and geographic locations. The Contractor must provide Network IT Services to include Systems and Network engineering planning, implementation and validation, technical documentation and training.

Requirements: 10 years demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection in addition to related degree or 15 years’ experience in lieu of degree. Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.

Proficient with the following (as specific position requires):

Provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations).

Must have skills needed to install, configure, and support the following:

Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)

Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.

Expert level support to include physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco- based).

Experienced in system level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.

Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design

Create system diagrams and present high-level presentations to management. Experienced in packet capture software.

DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.

TS/SCI with FSP required. Most recent poly in the last 7 years required.

• Able to support on-call requirements.
• Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking
• Virtualization products; VMWare and Solaris containers.
