Network Field Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and commission telecom equipment such as SDH, PDH, DWDM, MPLS-TP, power relays, and satellite communication systems.
• Perform site surveys to identify installation requirements and develop project plans accordingly.
• Conduct testing and commissioning activities for telecom networks to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues related to network operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during installations and maintenance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 4-9 years of experience in field engineering or a related role in the telecom industry.
• Diploma or degree (B.Tech / B.E.) in Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of telecom networking technologies including SDH, PDH, DWDM, MPLS-TP, power sector applications.
