Language Requirements

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Network and Infrastructure Engineers based in Japan to support multiple enterprise IT infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate may be involved in network design, implementation, operations, troubleshooting, infrastructure improvements, or technical leadership depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and related infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and investigate incidents and connectivity issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Support network upgrades, migrations, configuration changes, and lifecycle activities
• Work with vendors and customers to investigate and resolve technical issues
• Participate in onsite activities when required
• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, reports, and project documentation
• Support network improvement and infrastructure optimization initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and external vendors
• Depending on experience, take responsibility as a Technical Lead or Network Lead

Technical Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

• Cisco networking
• Cisco Meraki / Meraki Dashboard
• L2/L3 switches and routers
• Firewalls and network security
• LAN / WAN / VPN
• Wireless LAN / Wi-Fi / Wireless AP
• Load balancers
• Proxy / Reverse Proxy
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting
• TCP/IP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and routing
• Network design and implementation
• Network operations and maintenance
• Cloud networking (AWS / Azure)
• VMware / Windows / Linux infrastructure
• Microsoft 365 / Endpoint / Intune

Meraki / Wireless Experience

For certain projects, hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki is particularly valuable, including:

• Meraki Dashboard configuration and monitoring
• Log investigation
• Wireless LAN configuration and troubleshooting
• SSID, authentication, channel, interference, and roaming issues
• Wireless AP troubleshooting
• Client connectivity troubleshooting
• Vendor support escalation

Qualifications

• Professional experience in network or IT infrastructure engineering
• Practical experience with enterprise network environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and reports
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues

Location

• Japan-based candidates only
• Tokyo / Kanto and other locations depending on the project
• Onsite, hybrid, or remote arrangements vary by position
