Job Summary

Spark Techwave InnovationZ Pvt Ltd is looking for a Network Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with routing, switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring, and enterprise network infrastructure. The role will involve maintaining reliable, secure, and highly available network environments across data centers, offices, and cloud-connected infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure.
• Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center network environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and NAT.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Manage site-to-site and remote-access VPN connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth, and capacity.
• Identify and resolve network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and performance issues.
• Implement network security controls including firewall policies, access controls, and network segmentation.
• Perform network upgrades, configuration changes, migrations, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, IP address management, and infrastructure records.
• Perform network incident investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with ISPs, technology vendors, and internal infrastructure teams.
• Support connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and AWS/Azure cloud environments.
• Participate in capacity planning, network optimization, disaster recovery, and high-availability initiatives.
• Follow change-management, security, backup, and infrastructure standards.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, LAN, WAN, and enterprise networking.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching.
• Experience with Cisco or equivalent enterprise networking equipment.
• Strong knowledge of VLANs, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and IP addressing.
• Experience with OSPF and BGP.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and VPN technologies.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of network security and access-control concepts.
• Experience with network troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Understanding of high availability and network redundancy.
• Good knowledge of structured network infrastructure and documentation.

Good to Have

• Cisco Catalyst / Nexus.
• Cisco ASA / Firepower.
• Palo Alto / Fortinet / Check Point.
• SD-WAN technologies.
• Load balancers such as F5 or equivalent.
• Enterprise wireless technologies and wireless controllers.
• Network automation using Python or Ansible.
• Cloud networking – AWS VPC / Azure VNet.
• Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, or Grafana.
• IPv6 knowledge.
• Data center networking experience.
• CCNA / CCNP certification.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Networking, or a related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure or enterprise networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Good understanding of network security and infrastructure availability.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
