Network Infrastructure Engineer (Si)

About the role

1AN (THAILAND) CO., LTD. is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technical team in Mueang Chonburi, Chon Buri. This is a full-time position based on-site in our Chonburi office, where you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure that supports our business operations and services. As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems, directly contributing to the company's operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls and network security appliances
• Monitor network performance and availability to ensure optimal system functionality and minimal downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, performance problems and infrastructure failures
• Configure and maintain network protocols, routing and switching technologies to support business requirements
• Implement network security measures and access controls to protect organisational data and systems
• Plan and execute network upgrades and infrastructure improvements to support business growth
• Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams regarding network-related issues
• Document network configurations, procedures and changes to maintain accurate infrastructure records
• Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to align network infrastructure with business objectives

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
• 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering or infrastructure management roles
• Strong knowledge of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and routing protocols
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network equipment from manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper or equivalent
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix or PRTG
• Experience with network security technologies including firewalls, VPNs and intrusion detection systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex network issues
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a technical team environment
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+ or equivalent are highly desirable
• Experience with cloud networking and software-defined networking (SDN) is preferred
• Knowledge of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) would be advantageous
