Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of telecommunications, structured cabling, or network infrastructure QA/QC experience. Strong understanding of fiber optics, copper cabling, pathways, telecom infrastructure, and construction quality processes. Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and closeout documents. Experience utilizing quality management platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Ability to manage contractors and drive issue resolution across multiple stakeholders. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Connectivity QA/QC Inspector to serve as an independent owner's representative supporting large-scale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring all structured cabling, fiber, network, and pathway installations meet project specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices from installation through turnover. Key Responsibilities Perform independent onsite QA/QC inspections of telecom, fiber, copper, pathway, and network infrastructure installations. Review specifications, submittals, shop drawings, testing documentation, and closeout packages for compliance. Identify, document, track, and drive resolution of quality issues throughout the project lifecycle. Verify contractor adherence to approved installation methods, testing requirements, and quality standards. Support equipment tracking, turnover documentation, commissioning readiness, and final acceptance activities. Validate fiber and copper testing results, network audit documentation, and contractor quality reports. Manage QA/QC reporting, issue logs, inspection checklists, dashboards, and project metrics. Participate in owner, contractor, and project meetings while providing clear status updates and risk identification.
