Network Migration Lead

Green Light Australia are partnering with a leading company to engage Network Migration Lead to support a large-scale network transformation and migration program. This role will be responsible for leading migration planning, providing technical governance, coordinating delivery teams, and ensuring the successful execution of migration activities across multiple workstreams.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in network migration programs, technical leadership, stakeholder management, and operational decision-making within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee migration planning activities across the program.
• Provide technical governance, guidance, and oversight to ensure adherence to migration standards and methodologies.
• Support migration execution activities and facilitate operational decision-making.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, blockers, and escalations.
• Coordinate technical teams and migration workstreams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Monitor migration progress and support delivery of increased migration volumes.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, operations teams, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.
• Drive continuous improvement in migration processes, governance, and delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale network migration programs.
• Strong understanding of SD-WAN, WAN, and enterprise networking technologies.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership, governance, and oversight.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and business units.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, issues, and escalations in complex delivery programs.
• Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
• Experience supporting high-volume migration and transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise network modernization programs
