Network Operations Associate

About the role

This role involves overseeing network operations and team performance, developing and improving policies, procedures, and reports on network reliability, performance, and security. You will ensure network confidentiality, integrity, and availability, lead enforcement of cybersecurity standards, and manage network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing network operations and team performance
• Develop and improve policies, procedures, and reports on network reliability, performance, and security
• Support compliance and certifications (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO)
• Mentor and guide team members; assign tasks and monitor progress
• Ensure network confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Lead enforcement of cybersecurity standards and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
• Monitor and analyze network performance and uptime
• Provide advanced technical support and resolve network issues
• Respond to cybersecurity alerts; implement firewall and access controls
• Automate configurations and maintain documentation

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in network operations or team leadership
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routing, firewalls, and troubleshooting
• Experience in ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or similar environments preferred
• Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent required
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
