Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily network operations and technical support activities
• Monitor network availability, performance, and service quality
• Manage technical incidents and service escalations
• Coordinate troubleshooting and fault-resolution activities
• Maintain accurate network and configuration records
• Review recurring incidents and recommend improvements
• Coordinate planned maintenance and network updates
• Monitor service levels and response times
• Support network implementation and upgrade projects
• Work with engineers, suppliers, and technology partners
• Maintain network diagrams and technical documentation
• Prepare operational and performance reports
• Support security, access-control, and network-monitoring procedures
• Coordinate backup and continuity requirements
• Monitor outstanding technical requests and project actions
• Support and guide network team members
• Maintain appropriate handling of confidential technical information
• Follow company security and operational procedures

What We Are Looking For

Experience

• Three or more years of experience in network operations, network engineering, infrastructure, IT support, or a related technical environment
• Experience troubleshooting network and connectivity issues
• Experience coordinating technical incidents or service activities
• Previous responsibility for network performance or operational reporting is preferred

Skills

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and connectivity
• Good troubleshooting and technical problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, switching, routing, and network monitoring
• Strong organisation and workload-management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Ability to coordinate several technical priorities
• Good analytical and reporting abilities
• Strong attention to technical documentation and accuracy
• Professional stakeholder and supplier communication
• Responsible approach to network security and confidential information
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education

• Qualification in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline is preferred
• Relevant networking certifications are beneficial
• Suitable professional experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications

Pay: £48,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
