Role Description The Network Operations Manager position is a full-time onsite position located in Lecanto, Florida. This position manages the Network Operations Section within the Systems Management Department and all networking and server resources for the County. Acts as primary Network Administrator and oversees network infrastructure, countywide coordination of all servers, workstations, printers, peripherals, networks, and managing the implementation of all server and desktop operating systems and productivity software. This is a working management position.

Qualifications

Education, Training, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, vocational technical degree, or specialized training in management of information systems, computer science or closely related field that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of four (4) years of college education in addition to four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Or 8 years of verifiable experience as a Network Engineer in a lead role.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Florida Driver License or must obtain within 30 days of establishing residency in Florida.
• Major networking certification required.
• Security certifications are highly desirable.
