Network Operations / NOC Technician

We are looking for a Network Operations Technician to support the monitoring and operation of large-scale Department of Defense networks. This position will work as part of a network operations team responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating network issues to help maintain reliable network services.

The ideal candidate will have a background in networking, telecommunications, NOC operations, or technical support and be comfortable working in a 24x7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network systems, circuits, and alarms
• Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity and service issues
• Perform initial fault isolation and technical analysis
• Create and maintain incident and service tickets
• Escalate issues to appropriate engineering or operations teams
• Support network outages, maintenance activities, and service restoration
• Monitor network performance and system status
• Communicate technical issues and status updates to internal teams and customers

Qualifications

• Experience in NOC operations, networking, telecommunications, or technical support
• Understanding of basic networking and TCP/IP
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Familiarity with routers, switches, or network monitoring tools
• Experience with ticketing or IT service management systems
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Security+ CE or equivalent IAT II certification
• Ability to work a 24x7 schedule
• Ability to work onsite at Scott AFB, IL

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
