Network OperationS Specialist

Job Type: Contract-based.
Work Schedule: Shifting Schedule
Work Arrangement: Full Onsite

We are looking for a Network Operations Specialist who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure. The successful candidate will have strong experience in Cisco networking, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, and network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage solutions for WAN optimization, application acceleration, and network performance enhancement.
• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based routing and switching solutions for LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
• Administer and configure SolarWinds for network performance monitoring, fault management, and capacity planning.
• Utilize ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident, problem, change, and request management related to network operations.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, patching, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues to ensure network availability and performance.
• Work closely with internal teams to address network incidents and maintain reliable IT services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Network Engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• CCNP certification is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with SolarWinds, particularly NPM, NCM, IPAM, or similar modules.
• Experience using ServiceNow (SNOW) for IT Service Management.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, QoS, LAN/WAN, and other core networking protocols.
• Knowledge of network security principles and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work schedule

The role follows a rotating shifting schedule. Assigned shifts may include:

• Shift 1: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Shift 2: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Shift 3: 12:00 NN – 9:00 PM
• Shift 4: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Shift 5: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Rest Days: 6 days per month

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
