Network Provisioning Engineer

Job Summary:

Seeking a Network Provisioning Engineer with experience in data center networking, routing and switching, network device provisioning, and large-scale network deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and configure fabric switches, backbone routers, OOB devices, and network circuits.
• Work with BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, and data center spine-leaf/Clos architectures.
• Perform network activation, circuit testing, QA/QC, and production readiness checks.
• Troubleshoot device provisioning issues, uplink failures, and circuit connectivity.
• Support network software upgrades, optical provisioning, and deployment automation.
• Maintain deployment documentation, runbooks, BOMs, and ticket updates.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, data center deployment, or network operations.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, and data center networking.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper (JunOS), Arista (EOS), or Cisco (IOS-XR).
• Experience with large-scale network deployments and 100+ device environments.
• Familiarity with DWDM, 800G optics, transponder provisioning, and Python automation.
• Understanding of network protocols, OSI Layers 1–4, and physical data center infrastructure.
• Required Certification: CCNA/CCNP or JNCIA/JNCIS.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hyperscale data centers and Meta FBOSS.
• Knowledge of Ciena/Infinera optical platforms, DCIM tools, and network dashboards.
• BICSI or OSHA 10/30 certification.

Work Schedule:

• 100% onsite; remote work is not available.
• 24/7 shift coverage: Day, Swing, or Graveyard.
• 5 days on / 2 days off; 40 hours per week.
• Shift differentials may apply to Swing and Graveyard shifts.
