Network Recovery Senior Associate

For our client, we are seeking a Network Recovery Senior Associate to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on restoring service during critical network incidents and resolving customer-impacting outages in a fast-paced technical support environment. The associate will work closely with internal team members to troubleshoot complex optical networking and routing/switching issues while helping drive timely resolution and clear communication. Success in this position will require strong technical analysis, disciplined documentation, and high-quality root cause reporting that supports both stakeholders and ongoing network recovery improvements.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Respond to critical customer cases to restore service-impacting conditions
• Troubleshoot and resolve network outages using networking products
• Collaborate with team members on complex network issues
• Document troubleshooting activities and resolutions
• Produce root cause analysis documentation for stakeholders
• Participate in rotational on-call weekend coverage
• Contribute to best-practice initiatives for network recovery

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical support role or equivalent experience with networking equipment
• Proficient in optical networking and routing/switching products
• Strong analytical skills for resolving network outages under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical information sharing
• Detail-oriented with effective prioritization abilities
• Experience in technical writing for root cause analysis reports
