Location: Lake Forest, IL (Onsite)

Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Security Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of system security administration, user access management, and customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain systems and procedures to protect applications and internal systems from unauthorized use or access.
• Perform necessary actions to ensure data and network security, protecting systems from intentional or accidental breaches.
• Administer and maintain system access for associates and non-associates across multiple applications.
• Manage end-user file system access and security.
• Provide user and database administration across various systems, including Amtech, PeopleSoft, Mainframe, and AS400.
• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user security issues using the Remedy HelpDesk system.
• Answer incoming HelpDesk calls, generate Remedy tickets, and route them to appropriate support groups.
• Manage a fleet of approximately 900 network printers — including setup through Novell iPrint, creating/deleting IPP printers, and updating HTML files for printer location management.
• Collaborate with IT teams and non-IT departments for password resets, login support, and security issue resolutions.
• Manage and monitor all new software received by the company.
• Conduct system administration on multiple production application databases, including creation, modification, deletion, and access management based on job responsibilities.
• Test and document application enhancements within security modules per business requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in network security administration or IT helpdesk roles.

• Hands-on experience with:

• PowerShell scripting

• Microsoft Access

• Microsoft Active Directory

• Microsoft SCCM

• User and Database Administration

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Confidence in handling technical issues and coordinating with multiple teams.
